Owner Scott Lay worked with a respected photographer to get the very best images possible for each featured project. Southeast Digital Marketing optimized the images for the best page load times and created an image library with a variety of resolutions that could be used both for online and print applications. Online citations for the company were found to be inconsistent so SDM was asked to bring all of the directory listings into compliance. A complete content program has been designed to feature the latest news and updates about the company and its current projects.
Motophoto is a stalwart in the franchised photography services market. In 2017, the franchise was purchased by a new owner who quickly resolved to put a fresh face on a business that had been servicing East Texas faithfully for twenty years. The previous site was based on a proprietary platform from a 3rd party provider and was difficult to update and very limited in what was actually possible to change. A new site was designed and content updated to reflect new markets and services. All of the previous content was carefully redirected to preserve as much of the link equity the brand had accumulated over the years. Some Motophoto products are produced via a required portal so products had to be mapped from old links to modern tagged links that are viewable in analytics dashboards. The owner was proud to report that online sales have almost doubled year over year since the new design went live. Motophoto Tyler is now engaged in an aggressive content program to stay ahead of the competition.

SDM pulled together a comprehensive plan to kick start their web presence with a Google Business page, linked YouTube channel and a standardized listing that was disseminated to the major business syndication services that feed online directories.
